Mantra Café ("we", "us") operates the restaurant at 43 Victoria Road, Camps Bay, and this website at https://www.mantracafe.co.za. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, why we collect it, and how we handle it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Booking details — when you reserve a table, your booking is processed by Dineplan, our reservations provider. The details you submit there (name, contact number, email, party size, special requests) are handled under Dineplan's own privacy policy, and shared with us so we can host you.

Contact information — if you phone, email or message us, we receive the details you choose to share and use them only to respond to you.

Usage data — like most websites, we use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, links tapped, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure how the website performs and how our advertising is working. These tools set cookies in your browser and may process your IP address and browsing activity on this site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.

To take and manage your booking, to respond to your enquiries, to improve the website and our marketing, and to comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
